Dr. DeNere is an accomplished educator, consultant, and mental health professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting students, educators, counselors, families, and organizations. Her areas of expertise include school counseling, mental health and wellness, social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, youth development, mentoring, individual and group counseling, PBIS, MTSS, educational leadership, professional development, strategic planning, and program development and implementation.
Throughout her career, Dr. DeNere has held leadership and counseling roles, developing and implementing initiatives focused on student support, school climate, social-emotional learning, college and career readiness, mentoring, behavioral interventions, and professional learning.
As a professional development facilitator and consultant, she partners with school districts, colleges and universities, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community agencies to provide customized workshops, training, and strategic support. Her approach is practical, collaborative, culturally responsive, and systems-focused, helping organizations strengthen professional practice, build capacity, and improve outcomes for the individuals and communities they serve.
